Yes.
Have you sought any rulings that directly touch upon disability rulings?
No.
Are (should) mentally ill defendants treated differently from others? If so, how?
In civil matters, they must have a guardian appointed if they are unable to exercise reasonable judgement on their own behalf. But I would be conservative in making those appointments, and as much as possible defer to the defendant’s own judgments.
Are you willing to hire on a job share/full time basis a qualified law clerk/secretary with a disability?
Yes.
How will you work within the court structure to assure the accessibility of all facilities of the courts?
I would be interested in working on advisory and/or working committees to assure maximum accessibility.
